Terms

The seller is Solve Algorithms Inc., trading as Solve Algorithms, at contact@solvealgorithms.com. Payment is taken by Stripe on the seller’s behalf; the seller, not Stripe, is the merchant of record. Prices are in US dollars and include any sales tax or VAT: the price you see is the price you pay, wherever you are, and the tax is taken out of it rather than added to it.

What you are buying

Reading the book online is free and needs only an account. That account is not a trial and does not expire. What you pay for is the files, the PDF and the EPUB, which are yours to keep, with no account and no connection to this site needed to open them.

Both are a personal licence: not transferable, and not for redistribution. The licence covers the practice companion at solvealgorithms.com/practice, which is part of the book rather than a separate product.

Online access is offered for as long as the site runs. If it ever stops, the files still open, which is why they are delivered rather than streamed.

Refunds

Ask within 14 days of buying and you get your money back in full, for any reason, including having read the whole thing. Write to contact@solvealgorithms.com. The licence to the files ends with the refund; your free account and your online reading do not.

UK and EU law lets a seller withhold the cancellation right on a digital file once downloading has begun. We do not rely on that. A refund you have to argue for is worth less than the $19, and a book that needs one has failed.

The first three sections are free to read with no account at all, precisely so that nobody has to buy this book, or even sign up for it, to find out what it is.

Corrections

Errors are published at solvealgorithms.com/errata and fixed in the files. If you bought a digital copy you get the corrected version at no cost.

Names that are not ours

The practice sheet names problems that also appear on LeetCode and links to them there. LeetCode is a trademark of LeetCode LLC. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by them. Every statement, example, test and solution here is written for this book.
